Twin Cities Ballet

Anna began training at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and continued on to get a bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance at Butler University. She joined Huntsville Ballet as a company dancer for two seasons, during which she performed soloist roles such as the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Little Swans in Swan Lake, and the Red Bird in Peter and the Wolf. This is her first season with TCB.

Janna Turner, originally from Eastern Kentucky, received her professional ballet training from Houston Ballet Academy. She was a trainee with Cincinnati Ballet, and went on to work with Lexington Ballet and then Florida Ballet as a company dancer. With Florida Ballet, she performed in Napoli Pas de Six, Linda MacArthur Miele’s Souvenir, Giselle, and many original neoclassical and contemporary works by artistic director Roberto Forleo. Most notably, she was featured as Dracula’s Bride in the premiere of Forleo’s Dracula alongside the Jacksonville Symphony. This is Janna’s first season with Twin Cities Ballet and she is so excited to be here!

Originally from Wisconsin, Joanna began dancing at the age of three and joined the Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy at seven. She continued her training in its esteemed Pre-Professional Program before joining Milwaukee Ballet II for the 2022–2023 season under the direction of Mireille Favarel. Joanna joined Twin Cities Ballet as an apprentice in 2023, and was promoted to company member in 2025. With TCB, she has performed roles such as Clara, Lead Loon, and Lead Wildflower in A Minnesota Nutcracker, and Beauty’s Sister in Beauty & the Beast. 

Hailing from Puerto Rico, Lisandro trained at Escuela Especializada en Ballet Julián E. Blanco. He also trained at Centro Danza, Ballet Concierto, Feijoo Ballet School, Sarasota Ballet, Cuba Ballet, and the National Ballet Theater of Puerto Rico. He has danced professionally with the Bahbt Company, and as a trainee with Sarasota Ballet. With TCB, he has performed the roles of Cavalier in A Minnesota Nutcracker, the Doctor in Pink Floyd’s The Wall: A Rock Ballet, and Francois/Franz in Coppélia in Paris. This is his second season with TCB.

MaryClaire is from Charleston, SC. She trained with Charleston City Ballet, and graduated high school from South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts. She was also a trainee at Ballet West, where she had the opportunity to perform lead roles in many Ballet West Academy productions, including Balanchine’s Who Cares?. While training full-time at Ballet West, MaryClaire also pursued her BFA in dance performance from the University of Utah. With TCB, MaryClaire has danced the roles of Snow Queen and Flower Queen in A Minnesota Nutcracker and the Wife in Pink Floyd’s The Wall: A Rock Ballet. This is her second season with TCB.
