Luke Xavier

This is Luke’s fourth season as a company member with TCB, after being promoted from Company Apprentice. A New Hampshire native, Luke trained at New England Civic Ballet, Dean College in Massachusetts and Ballet Royale Minnesota. With TCB Luke has danced many featured roles, including Drosselmeyer, The Nutcracker, Arabian Lead and Cavalier in A Minnesota Nutcracker, Peter and Aslan in Narnia: The Ballet, the Creature in Victor Frankenstein, The Beast in Beauty & The Beast, and Pink in The Wall: A Rock Ballet.

Natalie Rossi

A Georgia native, this is Natalie’s fifth full season with TCB, after previously dancing as a guest artist. Natalie trained in the pre-professional program at International City School of Ballet, and was a trainee with the Richmond Ballet. She has won bronze and silver medals at the Youth America Grand Prix. Natalie has also danced with the Montgomery Ballet and Charleston Ballet Theatre. With TCB Natalie has danced many lead roles including Swanilda in Coppélia Nouveau, Cinderella in Cinderella 1944: A Love Story, Beauty in Beauty & The Beast, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Arabian Lead in A Minnesota Nutcracker, and Lucy in Narnia: The Ballet.

Marissa Debenedictis

This is Marissa’s fourth season with TCB; a Chicago native, she has also danced with Chicago Repertory Ballet, Thodos Dance Chicago, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Atlanta Ballet. With TCB Marissa has danced many lead roles including Snow Queen and Flower Queen in A Minnesota Nutcracker, the bravura Pas de Deux Flames of Paris, the Diva in the world premiere of Coppélia Nouveau, featured roles in the ballets RED and Classicana, the Spirit of the Rose in Beauty & The Beast, the Mother in The Wall: A Rock Ballet, and the White Witch in in TCB’s original Narnia: The Ballet.

Micah Chermak

This is Micah’s third season with TBC, including a season here in 2013-14. With TCB he has danced the lead roles of Nutcracker in A Minnesota Nutcracker, the Doctor in The Wall: A Rock Ballet, Moonlight Sonata Pas de Deux from Classicana, and both Mr. Tumnus and Mr. Beaver in TCB’s original Narnia: The Ballet. He has also danced with PDX Contemporary Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Minnesota Dance Theater, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Portland Opera. Micah has a MFA from the University of Arizona School of Dance and a BFA in Ballet and BA in Liberal Studies from Friends University in Wichita KS. He is married to fellow TCB dancer Yellie Chermak.

Lauren Ganther

This is Lauren’s second season with TCB. Originally from Wisconsin, she has a BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory. Lauren danced with Jose Mateo Ballet theatre for five seasons, dancing principal classical roles and roles specifically created for her by the director, and has also danced with Convergence Ballet Company and Neos Dance Theatre. With TCB her lead roles include the Sugar Plum Fairy and Arabian Lead in A Minnesota Nutcracker, the Wife in The Wall: A Rock Ballet, The Firebird in the original Pas de Deux, Firebird: Essence of Being, and Susan in in TCB’s original Narnia: The Ballet.

Antonio Lopez

Originally from New Mexico, this is Antonio’s second season with TCB. He trained with Ballet Repertory Theater of New Mexico, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet NYC, Walnut Hill, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet. Professionally, Antonio has also danced locally with Children’s Dance Theater, St. Paul Ballet, and Rochester Dance Company. With TCB Antonio has danced the lead roles of Cavalier and Arabian Lead in A Minnesota Nutcracker, the Prosecutor in The Wall: A Rock Ballet, the original Pas de Deux, Firebird: Essence of Being, and Peter in Narnia: The Ballet.

Yellie Chermak

This is Yellie’s second season with TCB. Yellie trained with Dayton Ballet and danced professionally with Ithaca Ballet, Ballet Austin, and as a soloist with Alabama Ballet and Ballet Tucson. In addition to Mirliton Lead and Flower Princess, Yellie has danced Mrs. Beaver in TCB’s original Narnia: The Ballet. Yellie is married to fellow TCB dancer Micah Chermak.

Shannon Moore

A Chaska resident, this is Shannon’s first season as an Apprentice with TCB, after previously dancing as a TCB Trainee. Shannon trained with Ballet Royale Minnesota in its Professional Division Day Program, and summer intensives with ABT and Atlanta Ballet.

Kotomi Iwase

A native of Japan, this is Kotomi’s second season as an Apprentice with TCB. Kotomi has also danced Flower Princess and Spanish Lead in TCB’s A Minnesota Nutcracker, and the Moonlight Sonata Pas de Deux from TCB’s original work, Classicana.

Christian Moore

A Minnesota native, this is Christian’s second year as a TCB Apprentice. He began dancing at 19 years of age and attended college at North Central University. Prior to joining TCB, Christian served eight years in the Air Force, including a tour in Iraq, and is an award winning dance photographer who has worked with dance companies, studios and dancers across the United States.
