"Scout Day at the Ballet"!
The most magical time of the year is almost here!
This year we are offering Scouts an opportunity to attend all five weekend showings of A Minnesota Nutcracker.
The "Scout Day at the Ballet" will include:
- Discounted tickets
- An exclusive, embroidered Twin Cities Ballet A Minnesota Nutcracker patch
- A special STEAM brochure that highlights the physics and mechanics of the art of Ballet
- A Minnesota Nutcracker themed Scout photo booth
- Q&A and peek behind-the-scenes with Artistic Director Denise Vogt for Scouts that attend the Saturday 7:00pm performance

- Tickets can be purchased in person through the Ames Center Box Office in Burnsville. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets from Ames Center by phone. Please visit the Ames Center Website for box office hours and contact information.

When selecting seats, select the “Unlock” button and enter the discount code in the box. All prices will update to the Scout rate.
Performances of “A Minnesota Nutcracker” are:
- Friday, December 8 at 7pm
- Saturday, December 9 at 2pm
- Saturday, December 9 at 7pm with Scout Q&A following!
- Sunday, December 10 at 1pm
- Sunday, December 10 at 4:30pm

Tickets are 15% off the regular ticket price: $42.50, $37.25, $34.00, and $28.00 Reserved Seating.

“A Minnesota Nutcracker” is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

There will be a Scout table in the front lobby of Ames Center prior to each performance and during intermission.
There may be additional patches are available in limited quantity at the Twin Cities Ballet Boutique during the performances of “A Minnesota Nutcracker.”.
Twin Cities Ballet’s Artistic Director, Denise Vogt, will host a Q&A exclusively for Scouts after the Saturday 7:00pm performance.
Scouts and chaperones should remain seated while other guests exit the theatre and then some theatrical secrets will be revealed and Scouts will have the opportunity to ask questions.

About the Ballet
TCB’s annual production of A Minnesota Nutcracker has been a beloved holiday tradition in the South Metro since its inaugural performances in 2003, and is attended by over six thousand audience members in the course of a single weekend each year. Featuring spectacular dancing and original choreography, A Minnesota Nutcracker retains all the magic and familiar traditions loved by so many, but adds local flair with Minnesota settings and custom designed Minnesota-centric backdrops.
