Audition for Twin Cities Ballet
A Minnesota Nutcracker Student Dancer Auditions
All local student dancers are invited to audition for TCB’s 2026 produciton of A Minnesota Nutcracker!
Student auditions will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Ballet Royale Minnesota. This is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to participate in a professional ballet production and be part of one of the most popular holiday events in the area. For over 20 years, TCB has welcomed student dancers from any local dance school to participate in its productions. All of TCB’s staff are dedicated to respecting student dancers’ existing commitments to their current dance studio.
A Minnesota Nutcracker will be performed at Ames Center from December 11–13 and at Northrop Auditorium December 19–20, 2026.
Guest Artists for A Minnesota Nutcracker
Twin Cities Ballet is seeking strong male classical ballet dancers for A Minnesota Nutcracker this December.
December 11–13 | Ames Center
December 19–20 | Northrop Auditorium
These are paid, competitive short-term contracts for dancers with strong classical ballet technique and partnering skills.

Auditions for TCB’s 2026/27 Season
We are currently accepting audition applications for Company, Apprentice, and Trainee positions; we have open company positions for male Soloist/Principal level company dancers. This is a competitive salaried position with a 35-week season.
Strong classical ballet, partnering (male & male-presenting dancers), pointework (female & female-presenting dancers), and contemporary skills required. Company dancers must be eligible to work in the United States. Female dancers maximum height 5’7″. Please submit materials by April 30, 2026.

Company Dancer: Soloist and Principal level, competitive salaried position, 35-week contract. Strong classical ballet, partnering and contemporary skills required. Dancers should be currently eligible to work in the United States. We have open company positions for both male/male-presenting & female/female-presenting dancers.
Apprentice: Unpaid Apprentice positions for dancers eighteen and older seeking performance opportunities, training, and artistic development to grow, gain experience, and better prepare for a company position. Opportunities for both male and female dancers.
Student Trainees: High school-age through 21, for those who wish to receive the finest training available and perform with a professional company alongside professional dancers in professional productions, while on a path to a professional career. Opportunities for both male and female dancers.
