About A Minnesota Nutcracker Audition

Auditions for A Minnesota Nutcracker will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Ballet Royale Minnesota. This is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to be a part of a professional ballet production and join one of the most widely attended holiday events in the area.

Auditions will be separated by Ballet Royale Minnesota levels or by age (non-Ballet Royale Students).  There will be a mandatory Zoom parent meeting on Thursday, September 22 at 7:30pm. A $25 non-refundable Audition Fee will be due prior to the audition.

Students must pre-register by paying the Audition Fee (PayPal Button below) and filling out the Registration link below before attending the audition. Audition fees are non-refundable.

Audition Times:

12:00-12:45pm: Audition for Youth Ballet I/II/III & PPP 1A-3A
(or Ages 7-10)

1:00 – 2:30pm: Audition for Youth IV, Int. I & PPP 4A/4B
(or Ages 10+ with 1 year or less of pointe)

2:45 – 4:30pm: Int. II, PPP 5A & higher
(or Ages 12+ with greater than 1 year of pointe)

If you are interested in auditioning this year, parents must attend the Zoom meeting on Thursday, September 22 at 7:30pm. This meeting will go over production protocols as well as discuss the important dates and commitment level. If you would like the Zoom link to the Mandatory Parent Meeting please email and the link will be sent. If you have filled out the Registration form, you will be sent the Zoom link prior to the Parent Meeting. Please check your spam folder if you do not see the email.

A Minnesota Nutcracker will be performed at Ames Center December 8–11, 2022.
