Ames Center - Burnsville, MN

Experience a brand new original adaptation of the classic story ballet, Coppélia, in the World Premiere of the innovative full-length production, Coppélia Nouveau. Set in 1920’s Paris, this story was written specifically for Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota, and features a “ballet within a ballet.”

Follow the relationships and interactions between ballet dancers in a company staging the classic ballet Coppélia, and the characters in the ballet itself that they are dancing. The story moves seamlessly between “real life” dance scenes and traditional scenes from the ballet Coppélia, all the while following the traditional story line of the beloved classic ballet.

With the familiar beautiful Coppélia score by Léo Delibes guiding and inspiring, this unique reimagining of this classic story will provide a delightful and memorable experience for all.
