COMPANY DANCERS:

AUDITION: Saturday, March 30 at 10:00am. 

Open Company audition for 2019-2020 season. Please bring resume and two photos. No audition fee for professionals or apprentices. $25 audition fee for those applying for Trainee Positions (high school age or younger).

TCB is an innovative professional ballet company that is reigniting passion for ballet through original high-quality performances, including our recent sold-out show Pink Floyd's The Wall: A Rock Ballet.

Company: Soloist and Principal level, competitive salaried position, 34-week season.

Apprentice: Unpaid Apprentice positions for dancers eighteen and older seeking performance opportunities, training, and artistic development to grow, gain experience, and better prepare for a company position.

Trainees: High school-age, for those who wish to receive the finest training available and perform with a professional company alongside professional dancers in professional productions, while on a path to a professional career.

Ballet Royale Minnesota Professional Division Day Program Open Auditions:

 

TWO SEPARATE OPPORTUNITIES TO AUDITION:

Unique in Minnesota, Ballet Royale's elite daytime training program provides a comprehensive advanced course of study for talented, ambitious, and committed students from all over the country who wish to maximize their personal growth and/or pursue dance professionally.

TWO ALTERNATIVE DATES: Saturday, March 30, 10:00am OR Sunday, April 7, Noon. Registration opens 30 minutes prior.

Cost: $25 non-refundable audition fee; cash or check only.

About the Program: This weekday afternoon program provides training in ballet technique, pointe, men’s class, Progressing Ballet Technique®, performance (musical theater) jazz, modern (contemporary) dance, repertory, pas de deux, independent workshops, guest teachers, personal coaching, Pilates/injury prevention, advanced variations, and multiple performance opportunities.

There are ongoing openings for student Company Trainees; these dancers are near-Apprentice level or Apprentice level dancers who are still in High School, and wish to receive the finest training available and perform with a professional company alongside professional dancers in professional productions, while on a path to a professional career.. Company Trainees must be accepted into and attend Ballet Royale Minnesota's Professional Trainee Division day program.

 

There are also a limited number of Unpaid Apprentice Positions available for qualified dancers over 18 years old who are seeking performance opportunities, training and artistic development in order to grow, gain experience and better prepare for a company positon.

Company Positions for 2019-2020:
Soloist & Principal level. Competitive salaried position. Season runs approximately September 2019 to May 2020: 34 weeks

All Dancers:
Applicants must have strong classical ballet foundation and contemporary (modern) technique, excellent performance skills, good work ethic, and a desire to continually grow and advance both technically and artistically.

Each year Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota has awarded targeted scholarships/grants to eligible metro area student dancers. The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize excellence in the art of dance by persons in our community, to provide financial support and tangible encouragement to young dancers so that their development might continue, and to identify area dancers who are dedicated to making dance training, education, and performance a central part of their lives.

 

Eligible applicants must have recently performed with Twin Cities Ballet or participated in a program or event sponsored or hosted by Twin Cities Ballet, and been accepted into a recognized summer intensive dance program in the applicable year that is at least three weeks in duration, with a primary emphasis on classical ballet training. Students may not receive a grant more than two times in  three consecutive years.
